Lions Club of Ampang is a community Service organization under the umbrella of Lions Club International District 308 B1 Malaysia.
The Lions Club of Ampang (LCA) is an association registered with Registrar of Society (ROS) Malaysia (PPM-007-14-05051998) and operate under the auspices of The Lions Club International (LCI) Association (LCI No 58803).

Lions Clubs International is the largest service club organization in the world. There are 1.4 million Lions members in more than 48,900 clubs are serving in over 210 countries and geographic areas around the globe. Since 1917, Lions have strengthened local communities through hands-on service and humanitarian projects, and we are able to extend our service impact through the generous support of our Lions Clubs International Foundation. We are focused on supporting sight, hunger, the environment, childhood cancer and our new global cause, diabetes, to help address some of the biggest challenges facing humanity. Lions have set an ambitious goal of helping 200 million people per year so we can bring even more service to more people than ever before.
The slogan “Lions” carries the meaning “Liberty, Intelligence, Our Nation’s Safety”.
The motto is “WE SERVE”
Since chartered in 8 Oct 1996, Lions Club of Ampang had rendered meaningful services to aid the less fortunate and to make the community and our nation a better place to live in. Over the past 25 years, the Lions of Ampang had served the community in various capacities including fulfilling the basic and daily necessities of the underserved i.e. neglected orphans, abandoned old-folks and economically challenged families.
We are also one of the founding clubs for KL Lions Renal Centre which provide subsidized kidney dialysis treatment for the under-privileged. Another key area where we serve is to ensure equal and adequate education opportunities for the deserving youth through our club’s own Education Fund Initiative. Regular fund-raising activities are held yearly to support all the projects and activities of Lions Club of Ampang.
